Welcome to Lore Writer!
This is a site for fan and original fiction. The stories here are written by R.W. Harper and some of his friends and family. Most of the fan fiction originates from games, particularly online games such as World of Warcraft, Eve Online, Fallen Earth and so forth. However, I might be tempted to post some fan fiction from other literary universes and movies.
In addition to fan fiction, various pieces of original fiction will be posted here along with the possibilities of art and illustrations created from artists in the community.
Here’s some things to know about the “what” and the “how” relating to the the postings here:
Fan Fiction will come in a few varieties but there are two distinct forms for this site. The first is parody. Parody is meant to be fun and takes liberties with the universe that it’s written about. At no time will this parody be taken to extremes to detract from the universe. It meant only to add some comedic flavor to the story and the lore or the universe. The second is your standard, formal fan fiction, which keeps in-line the presentation, lore and standard narratives that the universe dictates. It’s what everyone is familiar with as players, readers or viewers of works from that universe.
Original Fiction will be the wild card here. I intend to keep it clean though as I know this site is visited by youngsters as well as adults that just appreciate good, clean writing. Even though my normal vocabulary is typical for us former sailors, I do respect the considerations of others. Even though I do strive to keep it clean, it may stray very close to the boundaries in violence and language but nothing worse than a PG-13 movie at the theater here in the U.S.A.
As for art that will be posted here, it will mostly be screen shots from games or various computer generated pieces to serve as illustration for stories. I am looking forward to seeing community contributed works for the stories as well. Again, these will all be in good taste.

With all of that said, the main purpose for this site is to have some fun, post some writing and share with the community that like those kinds of things. Please respect the postings here and if you intend to republish them somewhere, be sure to contact the authors beforehand and get their permission. We can hire lawyers just like anyone else.
